JOB DESCRIPTION :

Primary objective of the position

  • The Field-based Commercial Trainer is responsible for driving, improving and executing commercial trainings for customers and employees across countries.
  • Major accountabilities

  • Execute and drive area training concepts within Europe either internal (being the trainer) or facilitation with external training companies.
  • Ensure Area Europe training requirements are appropriately roll-out within the commercial organization of the region

  • Drive and execute on training and enablement plans by major functional area by region. Training may include standard, repeatable modules, customized and new product modules
  • Support and drive continuous improvement of trainings and training plans
  • Drive implementation of coaching methodology within commercial organization and front-line managers. Ensure coaching is successfully used in managers’ cadence and fieldwork
  • Success in this role is measured by timeliness and completion of trainings roll-out plan, return on investment of agreed trainings and performance of the organization
  • Educational background

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering and business administration
  • Requirements / Work experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years track record in the diagnostic industry with an emphasis on commercial functions in the diagnostics and / or medical device business
  • Excellent product and industry knowledge
  • Strong track record of presenting to small groups, medium sized groups of 20-100 people and not only as a speaker but also as main facilitator.
  • Extensive experience as program / project manager
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Change management experience highly desirable
  • Candidates must be fluent in local language and English, additional languages are advantageous
  • The position requires the willingness to travel on a frequent basis, i.e. on average twice per month
