We currently have a vacancy for a Technical Service Engineer Footwear in Russia.

The job purpose is technical support for existing and new product portfolio in footwear polyurethane systems and technologies in close communication with sales, marketing, R&D, and technical service functions in Huntsman Russian and global organization.

Reporting to the Marketing & Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving at customer locations to support business needs.

Key accountabilities include :

  • Follow in full EHS guidelines and promote safe working at customers
  • Have area market understanding and knowledge to identify and implement growth opportunities, without destroying market value
  • Take a part in developing and introduction new products to the FSU market
  • Lead customer trails and fine-tune formulations in the laboratory
  • Deliver all necessary technical help to customers
  • Contribute to customer relationships / intimacy to ensure business sustainability
  • Day to day contact with customers, to meet customer satisfaction level of technical help
  • Manage customers’ complaints, requests
  • Optimize customer production base thanks to improvements of production line capacity, upgrades
  • Consult / train FSU technical-commercial representatives to provide basic technical support to regional customers
  • Core skills, knowledge, and experience required :

  • Education : Graduate in Chemistry with relevant experience in polyurethanes
  • Experiences : At least 3 years experience in technical service
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Customer oriented, flexible and independent
  • The role involves continuous customer contact across all hierarchy levels
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication skills are essential
  • Ability to work independently and show strong results orientation
  • Should be prepared to travel up to 70% of working time
  • Fluency in English and Russian is essential
