Job Description

The idealcandidate should have significant experience in IT solutions and IT transformationprojects particularly focusing to technical sales of engineered systems. Thecandidate should have the ability to:

  • Engagewith all levels within both Oracle and the customers' organisations
  • Providepresales support for Key accounts
  • Co-draftsales strategies together with the account managers
  • Providetechnical support in all necessary sales activities
  • Definesystem architecture and solution proposals
  • Prepareconfigurations of hardware products and associated infrastructure software
  • Translatecustomer requirements into deliverable products and services
  • Designand participate in technology pilot projects or proof of concept (POC)activities
  • Definevalues propositions, positioning and differentiation to competitors products
  • Supportand develop existing customer and partner relationships and skills
  • Completethe technical requirement for request for information (RFI) and request forproposal (RFP)
  • Workalongside partners and other third party organizations as required
  • Helpdrive sales opportunities to successful completion
  • Defineand drive pre-sales initiatives in target accounts and territories
  • RepresentOracle a marketing events as required
  • Activelydevelop server and storage product expertise
  • Oracle salesconsultants must be excellent communicators, able to develop and articulatecomplex technological issues in a straightforward way to both decision makersand technical personnel alike.

    The candidate must be self motivated and proactive and also be interested inadvancing their specific expertise in engineered systems.

    Experience Required

    The idealcandidate should have significant experience in IT solutions and IT transformationprojects focusing particularly on technical sales of engineered systems.

    The idealcandidate should:

  • Be anexperienced professional with a successful and proven track record in thisdomain
  • Havea BSc. or equivalent or higher degreein Electrical Engineering, ComputerEngineering
  • Haveat least 3 years of pre-sales experience
  • HaveOracle database experience
  • Havedeep knowledge of Oracle technologies (database, development tools, datawarehousing, application servers, portals, etc.)
  • Haveexcellent written, oral and presentation skills
  • Beable to communicate at management level as well as at a technical expert level.
  • Havean understanding of key business drivers and competitive landscape
  • Beproficient in translating complex business requirements into workable technicalsolutions
  • Abilityto design and build Proof of Concept is a great benefit
  • FluentEnglish
