JOB DESCRIPTION :

The Capital Equipment Service Engineer (CESE) is responsible for the servicing Abbott
equipment, including mechanical installation, repair / upgrade / maintenance of capital equipment systems. The CESE services and supports Abbott advanced medical technologies and is responsible for driving customer satisfaction through service excellence.
It will require working very close with the central dispatch team for scheduling service activities.
Section 2 : ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Hardware / software field interventions including : Installation of integrated and stand-alone systemsPreventive maintenance, calibration & upgrades of installed systemsMedium complex troubleshooting and repair of capital equipment
Work with central dispatch team (Capital Equipment Administrators) and local sales / clinical staff on optimal scheduling of field interventions.
Document field service interventions per QA system requirements.
Report capital equipment incidents per QA system requirements.
Provide support and technical assistance for in-house training courses and congresses.
Provide system maintenance and troubleshooting training to sales and field clinical staff if required.
This position is expected to travel up to 90% and, at times, work unconventional hours
Employee must be able to travel with minimal notice, including internationally.
Must have a valid passport and driver's license

Section 3 : EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES
Bachelor degree in electronics, engineering or equivalent
Strong electronic and mechanical skills including troubleshooting
Minimum of 4 years' experience in electronics service or related field service
Experience with medical devices and software based medical systems
Familiarity with cath-lab and operating room procedures & protocols
Networking experience and PACS experience
Strong communication skills : verbal and written
Fluent in English and Russian
Computer skills : MSOffice
Requires occasional lifting of products and material related to installation of the systems
Ability to be flexible and respond to situations at short notice
Able to work independently in a fast environment with little supervision
Ability to travel up to 90% of time
