Technical solutions specialist MTS
MTS Specialist manages day-to-day technical marketing programs and activities so that they meet the organization's short and long-
term business objectives, comply with regulations and standards. Engage with key industry stakeholders; licensors, design institutes, associations, engineering companies and end users to support field sales to technically market existing products to existing customers / applications.
Identify new customers and application areas for future product solutions.
Main responsibilities :
Provides technical sales support for end-customers and distributors.
Coordinates and organizes interaction between technical and commercial departments of the company, as well as relevant distributor services for projects in the Sales region / Cluster entrusted.
Prepares integrated solutions for customers.
Organizes visits to current and potential clients.
Responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients.
Serves as a liaison between clients and company departments. Informs clients of new products and services as they are introduced.
Recommends products and services that fit well with clients’ business needs.
Responds to more complex technical questions regarding the organization’s products, systems or services.
Develops and delivers training to educate internal employees and external partners and customers on the features of their purchase.
Troubleshoots, investigates, and resolves technical problems that arise during or after implementation.
Develops test applications used for testing modules, including customer-specific components
University degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical / manufacturing engineering or a related field
Five years’ experience in sales and marketing management with engineering cutting tools skills and knowledge.
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant software programs, e.g. CAD / CAM
Knowledge in the field of digital technologies in metalworking (industry 4.0).
Knowledge of LEAN processes.
Knowledge of advanced metal cutting machining methods.
Experience of project work and project management (engineering and productivity increasing)
Proven track record in delivering good business results.
Successful experience from negotiations of commercial terms and conditions with industrial customers.
Relevant experience from Account Management or Sales Management.
Relevant application knowledge
Knowledge and experience of managing external and internal customer relationships.
Customer focuse and outcome oriented, team working capability.
Ability to listen to customer and project team to understand underlying needs.
Ability to manage customer requests and business issues effectively within a complex and global matrix organization, capable of leveraging functional resources working in a matrix organization
English knowledge is a strong plus
Driving license B, readiness for business trips
