Senior Credit Analyst - Corporates / Financial Institutions (100% - m / f)
Next to being a key stakeholder in the analysis of corporate clients, the senior credit analyst will be involved in the limit setting for international financial institutions and the further development of best practices for the Credit function at Sberbank Switzerland together and in line with Sberbank Group.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, well-organized team player who contributes with professional experience to the development of the Credit function and growing portfolio / credit limits at Sberbank Switzerland.
The candidate has good communication and presentation skills and is interested to embrace a fast-paced, ever-changing environment in growing bank based in Zurich, Switzerland and backed by one of the largest European banks.
Your Responsibilities :
Conducting in-depth financial, transactional and business risk analysis of international corporates and financial institutions, and review these periodically
Preparing a comprehensive credit package and present credit assessments / applications in a clear, structured, concise and confident manner and ensure adherence to the defined lending standards and working instructions,
Ensure a smooth and efficient credit approval process in Sberbank Group and Sberbank Switzerland in respect of various types of financial market / credit limits,
Structuring of credit facilities (including prepayments, working capital facilities), where required.
Contribute in drafting of credit documentation / ISDA agreements,
Monitor financial markets and regulatory developments with respect to the existing counterparties,
Interact with Business and Risks functions of both Sberbank Switzerland and the Sberbank Group,
Train and mentor junior colleagues.
Your Profile :
Swiss / EU passport or valid Swiss work permit.
University degree in Business / Finance / Banking. Preferable is a Master or equivalent graduate degree.
Detail oriented with excellent understanding of credit risk & knowledge of financial analysis under several standards
At least 5 years experience in banking or credit risk function as Credit Analyst
A deep understanding of corporate lending and structured commodity finance; a good understanding of financial institutions would be a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills,
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly provide instructions to others, summarize and articulate issues, and document them in a concise manner,
Structured, flexible self-starter with willingness to maintain strong attention to detail under pressure,
Reliable, committed and highly motivated team player that drives projects and tasks independently with a hands-on mentality that is willing to accept challenging tasks under demanding circumstances,
Fluent (spoken and written) in English and Russian, German is a plus.
