Purpose of job :

The Group Financial Controlling team leads the Financial Controlling Function providing support to the three core-businesses IKEA Retail, Ingka Centres and Ingka Investments.

Lead, direct, manage and support the intercompany service process from the initiation of the contract to its execution and the subsequent analysis of the results of the results;

organization of the process of creating intra-group reports

Assignments :

Manage Inter Company document flow

Develop, communicate and maintain IC document flow process in organization

Perform Single Point of Contact role for all IC contract conclusion

Maintain IC contracts list, coordination with other relevant departments

Secure relevant contract responsible co-workers are defined for each contract where practically possible

Coordinate submission of IC documentation upon different requests

Control timely price recalculation and actual invoicing (via P&L review in relation to profitability and revenue)

Secure that relevant contracts in place for all IC transactions

Maintain IC contracts templates (preparation, update, approval and storage in electronic format)

Initiate timely conclusion or / and revision of the existing contracts in terms of scope and prices

Arrange contract signing including preparation of approval list

Provide relevant information for invoicing purposes

Submit originals for archiving

Perform a contract responsible role for the different IC contracts

Organize reporting process for renederd Inter Company services

Develop, communicate and maintain reporting cycle and respective approval flow in organization

Develop reporting routines and templates

Provide relevant communication and trainings for organization

Organize IC service reports collection, review, approval, signing and archiving

Other tasks related to internal control in the preparation of financial statements, participation in financial statements

Competences :

Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial reporting rules, standards and manuals, along with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Excellent knowledge of Russian Accounting Standards and Tax legislation

Strategic business partner, with analytical skills able to translate business needs into financial consequences and solutions

Strong network and relationship builder both within and outside of the own organization

Make things happen with flexibility, speed and simplicity

Strong problem solving ability

Skills in finding better and efficient ways of working in all processes in Finance department and cross functions

Attention to detail : thoroughness and quality in accomplishing a task

Analytical : to examine data, determine cause & effects, draw conclusions

Key previous experiences and proven skills :

Formal education in Accounting, preferably a Master / Bachelor degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting.

5 years of increasingly responsible accounting and / or auditing experience in similar or larger organisation.

Advanced knowledge of accounting principles

Business knowledge and cross functional understanding

Understanding the impact of company legal (GAAP, Tax, statistical) obligations, governance and compliance.

Ability to communicate in English
