Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction / installation activities on site.
Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to Quality Control Supervisor non-conformances reports.
Liaise between construction and Engineering Team and being the site interlocutor for the different project engineering center (PARIS; MOSCOU; MURMANSK)
Manage site operators
Control of storage and certification of consumables.
Performs qualifications of coating processes.
Checks surface preparation and performs visual checks after blasting and painting
Checks and records atmospheric conditions prior to starting of painting operations.
Carries out wet and dry film thickness checks.
Monitors observations of the correct coding cycles.
Verifies the correct colour-coding and painting.
Performs visuals inspections.
Performs adhesion testing.
Performs penetration testing (When required)
Evaluates impact testing. (When required)
Minimum NACE 2 or FROSIO Level 3 accreditation.
Minimum 10 years’ experience as Painting and Coating Inspector.
SPECIAL & LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents written in English / Russian. Documents to include written work instructions, schematic / assembly drawings, standard operating and maintenance procedures, safety rules.
Must be able to communicate effectively with immediate supervisor.
