NVIDIA’s Content and Tech (C&T) Mobile Robotics team is looking for world class data scientists and engineers able to advance state of the art of our Computer Vision projects.
We are looking for someone always thinking about Computer Vision, someone who can work in the overlapping fields of software engineering and Computer Vision algorithms development.
You will be working with the latest GPU architectures coupled with Computer Vision, enabling improved Visual Odometry / Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) technologies.
What you'll be doing :
Implement Computer Vision algorithms in the backend of the Robot Vision of ISAAC ecosystem as well as integration of the Robotic Vision functionality in the ISAAC frontend.
Provide thorough testing of the developed code to guarantee both quality and performance of the delivered solutions and development of the testing instrumentation software.
Be up to date with the latest advancements in Computer Vision technology by monitoring and learning the latest publications in the field as well as existing legacy of the Computer Vision literature.
What we need to see :
5+ years of experience in software development with strong presence of R&D component in the accomplished projects.
Strong C++ programming skills; experience in Python, Git, Linux environments is highly welcome.
Either education background or practical experience with algorithms in Optimization and Linear Algebra.
Familiarity with OpenCV, Ceres, Eigen libraries. Halide experience is a plus.
Experience with Computer Vision products like Boujou, Colmap and / or with similar packages functionality.
Parallel programming expertise is a plus.
Exposure to GPU technology and CUDA programming is desirable.
Previous experience in Autonomous Vehicles, Mobile Robotics or VFX Camera Tracking fields is a preferred background.
Capable of working in a rapidly changing environment without losing focus.
Action-oriented with strong analytical and problems solving skills.
Advanced degree or similar in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, writing / reading English proficiency.
