Overview

We are looking for a talented and energetic individual to join our growing Opportunity Generation team within our Financial & Risk division.

Opportunity Generation Specialists are a key resource in the sales & marketing organisation and help drive new sales through prospecting, lead management and opportunity generation.

Fluency in English is a must, (our preferred candidates have additional European language capabilities).

Responsibilities

  • Own the flow of leads through our lead channels including events, web leads, inbound phone leads, referrals, growth plan driven leads etc
  • Cold call prospective lists of existing customers or new clients who have been identified as potential targets
  • Facilitate early stages of sales cycle / qualify potential leads before passing over genuine business opportunities to the appropriate Sales Specialist or New Business Team for next steps.
  • Drive specific project based research
  • Ensure all activities and leads are managed in TRUST
  • Be constantly learning and improving upon your understanding of the relevant set of Refinitiv products that are sold to the user base
  • Ensure you have a strong understanding of competitor products and services and how we can successfully position ourselves against them
  • Actively participate in Marketing and Opportunity Generation Specialist team meetings and events and share your customer, product and sales knowledge
  • Desired Skills

  • A self-starter who is not afraid of taking the initiative and generating their own ideas on how to grow the business
  • A strong interest in the financial markets
  • A good knowledge of Refinitiv products further training will be given
  • 2+ years experience in sales and prospecting skills either in financial institutions or IT or insurance spheres
  • University degree
  • Relevant financial market related certifications are beneficial
  • Fluent English and native Russian language skills is a must
  • The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Opportunity Generation for Europe.
