00 per hour Full Time / Part Time Part Time Work Schedule Summary
This position requires work hours between 2 : 30 pm and 6 : 30 pm during the school year, and not to exceed 15 hours per week.
Hours may vary depending on the after-school program schedule. The Extension Educator will determine weekly hours. Continuation of the position is based on availability of grant funding.
Position Responsibilities Position Summary
Work with University of Idaho Extension after-school coordinator and community partners to implement an after-school program.
Implement the 4-H Youth Development program within the after-school program. Provide a safe, caring, and enriching after-school environment.
Responsibilities Job Duty Function Assist the Extension Educator and After-school Coordinator run the after-school program Job Duties / Responsibilities
Report directly to After-school Coordinator and 4-H Coordinator.
Assist / lead activities with the children.
Work with parents to ensure safety and comfort of children in the after-school program.
Work with community partners to build support for the after-school program.
Assist in maintaining enrollment data and complete reports on time as determined by Extension Educator and Idaho 4-H.
Assist in conducting surveys and other evaluation methods as directed by evaluator.
Participate in meetings and training as related to program.

Percentage Of Time 5% Essential / Marginal Marginal Position Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
Experience : working with youth programs or after-school programs; working with individuals from varying cultural and / or socio-
economic backgrounds; working with volunteers.
Ability to : Use work processing program and basic knowledge of Excel, and graphic design software (Publisher, Photoshop, paint, Photo Editor, etc.
multi-task and meet deadlines; maintain confidentiality, ability to work cooperatively with others.
Requires : Food Safety training and First aid and CPR certifications within 8 weeks of hire.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background and / or driving investigation.
Experience : with 4-H Youth Development.
